The Centre conducts University Entrance Test in Commerce for those women who wish to get admission in SNDT's Arts and Commerce degree programs in Distance Education, but do not have the 10+2 (H.S.C) level certificates. A preparatory course is conducted by the Centre to prepare the students for the test. For admission there is no precondition except that the candidate should be minimum 18 years old. The test is different from H.S.C./S.S.C. or such other exams. Passing the test is not same as passing XII.

The course in Commerce consists of 4 papers. Instruction is available only in English.

Women passing the Test qualify for admission to the first year of the SNDT Women's University's B.A/B.Com degree course under Distance Education.
